MDS Site Data Policy
The Municipal Data Support (MDS) website is evolving in various ways. The “One Regional view” of the mapping information is now on the website. The municipality flow monitoring data is being made available as well. As the MDS website becomes more of a shared data resource the data policy has to evolve to accommodate the changing needs and interests of the various stakeholders.
3RWW hopes to provide a regional decision infrastructure that may be used by the various entities in the region to identify synergistic solutions that are both operationally efficient and cost effective for solving wet weather issues.
3RWW cannot guarantee the quality of data though all precautions are taken to preserve and enhance the quality of data
3RWW is not responsible for any modifications and alterations performed by individuals or entities after downloading the data from the MDS website. No data is removed from the site, but original data is retained in the site archives.
3RWW will continue to work with the authorized users to facilitate appropriate and meaningful data exchange. The authorized users are allowed to use the shared data for their analysis to identify opportunities for cooperation and synergy. This data is not to be used by the authorized users or their agents for any other purpose that goes against the spirit and intent of this authorized use or misrepresented in any way shape or form. Any unauthorized use of this data will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
